Harkelroads mark
Mr. and Mrs. Don Harkelroad, 224 Maple St., Bellevue, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 19, with an open house from noon to 4 p.m. for family and friends at the Bellevue Society for the Arts, 205 Maple St.
Mr. Harkelroad and the former Carol Tarnowski were married Sept. 19, 1959, in Lockport, N.Y.
They are parents of a daughter, Tamara A. Harkelroad, of Bellevue, and were foster parents to 80 children.
Don and Carol were the owners/operators of the former Don's Pizza Shop for 18 years. They both retired from the Bellevue City Schools.
The couple invites their friends, neighbors and relatives to join them at the Sept. 19 open house. The omission of gifts is requested.
