Meyers celebrath 40th

CLYDE -- Ken and Starleen Meyer, of Clyde, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a private family dinner.

Mr. Meyer and the former Starleen Weilnau were marred Oct. 11, 1969, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Clyde, by Father Fred Gschwind.

The couple are the parents of Teri Lin Meyer, of Clyde; Lyn (Linda) Meyer, of Fremont; Lyle Lyn (Libby) Meyer, of Bellevue; and Geof Lyn (Alicia) Meyer, of Clyde. They also have two grandsons, seven step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Meyer is retired from the Whirlpool Corporation. Ken and Starleen Meyer previously owned and operated Kenleen's Flower Shop in Clyde and Downtown Florists Inc. in Bellevue.
