Lyle Hamons, 117 H E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant by Bellevue Police through Norwalk Police Department on Aug. 14, on charges for domestic violence, assault with a weapon and failure to report to jail on a theft charge. Hamons must serve 10 days without bond. Hamons was transferred to Norwalk Police Department.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office charged Douglas Vollmar, 21, 100 block of Sheffield St., Bellevue, with operating a vehicle without a motorcycle license on Aug. 13.

A resident in the 300 block of Moore Ave. reported to Bellevue Police that their blue grey and silver Mongoose bicycle was stolen on Aug. 13.

A resident in the 200 block of N. Buckeye St. reported to Bellevue Police that their red and brown Mongoose was stolen from their property on Aug. 13.

Norfolk Southern Railroad was issued a citation for blocking the crossing located on Co. Rd. 308 and Flatrock Rd. on Aug. 15.

Emmanuel Cortes, 503 Kilbourne St., was arrested by Bellevue Police on Aug 17., and charged with no operators license and starting and backing. Cortes was issued a summons to appear in Bellevue Municipal Court because he was believed to be an illegal immigrant.

Katherine Gibson, 625 Castalia St., was charged with shortcutting to avoid a traffic controlled device, plead no contest, $44.
Raymond Rust, 1551 Ohio St., Clyde, was charged with driving under suspension, plead no contest, $294 with $150 suspended; three days jail, with three suspended.
Paul Lieber, 102 Meadow Ct., was charged with a red light violations, plead no contest, $79.
Michael Lesher, 361 N. Buckeye St., was charged with dog running loose, plead no contest, $194, with $120 suspended upon proof of restitution; charged with no dog license, plead no contest, $144, dismissed.

Mike Stanley, Winesburg Motel, Clyde, was charged with assault, amended to persistent disorderly conduct, plead no contest, $194 with $50 suspended, 30 days jail with 30 suspended.

Heather Russell, 18, 613 Dewey St., was charged with a red light violation and driving under suspension or restriction when she was involved in a two car crash on Aug. 14.
According to reports, Russell was traveling east bound on West Main St. when she failed to stop for a red light at Southwest Street. Upon entering the intersection, Russell was struck on the drivers rear side. The other vehicle involved in the accident left the roadway striking a trash bin, and a light pole.
Russell and her passenger were taken to The Bellevue Hospital, as was the second driver. No one was seriously hurt, according to police reports.
