Amber McElwain,
Wedding vows were exchanged Saturday, March 8, 2008, between Amber McElwain and Ryan Missler. The Very Rev. Keith Stripe, pastor, officiated the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Melissa McElwain, 138 Ashford Ave. Parents of the bridegroom are Norbert and Mary Missler, 1138 W. Main St., and the late Penny Missler.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white Italian silk satin silhouette chiffon gown designed with a plunging V-neckline beaded with sequins, crystals and pearls on the halter top bodice which featured an open back. It was secured at the waist with attached streamers over the A-line skirt and chapel length train. She wore a single layer beaded veil and carried a cascading bouquet of orange and yellow tiger lilies.
Hilary McElwain, Bellevue, served as her sister-in-law's matron of honor. She wore a patina green chiffon over taffeta halter gown featuring a brooch at the bustline and a full A-line skirt with streamers down the back. She carried a bouquet of orange and yellow tiger lilies.
Bridesmaids included Bailey Weber, Bellevue, a cousin of the bride; Mallory Rohrbacher, Sandusky; Brittany Lowe, Clyde; Heather Gittinger, Bellevue; and Hanna Aufdenkampe, Amherst. They were dressed identically to the honor attendant and carried matching bouquets.
Elizabeth Reitz, Bellevue, the bride's cousin, was the flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man was Wesley Missler, Bellevue, brother of the groom.
Ringbearer was Evan Reitz, Bellevue, also a cousin of the bride.
The bride's mother wore a full length pewter dress with a three-quarter length sleeve jacket. She was presented a yellow tiger lily corsage.
The groom's mother wore a bronze full length sleeveless dress with a matching jacket. She was given a corsage of orange tiger lilies.
A reception was held at the Bellevue VFW Hall.
The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Pizza House West.
The couple took a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas. They are residing at 120 Country View Dr., in Bellevue.
The bride received a bachelor's degree in early childhood education at Bowling Green State University. She is employed as a substitute teacher.
The groom is a journeyman tool and die maker. He is an employee of Missler Industries.
