Erik Knight awarded two degrees from Ohio State Univ.

COLUMBUS -- Erik Knight, the son of Dr. Kim and Joan Knight, of Bellevue, earned two bachelors degrees, both with honors, during commencement exercises held June 8 at The Ohio State University's Ohio Stadium.

Knight, received a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry, magna cum laude with honors in the arts and sciences from the College of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. From the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, he received a bachelor of science in psychology, magna cum laude, with honors in the arts and sciences, with research distinction in psychology.

The title of his senior honors thesis was "The Psychophysiological Responses To Social Exclusion And Affective Films."

Knight was a graduate of the class of 2003 Bellevue High School. He plans to attend graduate school in Chicago, with the intent to do research in psychology and the drug relationship and has an ultimate goal of becoming a college professor someday.
