The Bellevue Care Center
receives five star status
The Bellevue Care Center recently received a Five Star Rating from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This is a "top honor" from the government indicating that the center is one of the top 90 nursing homes in the state of Ohio. Less than nine percent of all centers nationwide received the highest rating of "five stars." In fact, according to US News and World Reports, the Bellevue Care Center is ranked number nine in the entire state of Ohio, (www.usnews.com).
This rating really is a testimonial to the entire Bellevue Care Center staff, and is a definite reflection of their dedication to making a difference in the lives of individuals they serve each and every day. The team is committed to creating better ways of providing the highest services to their clients. From maintaining a clean living environment to providing state of the art therapy, and skilled nursing, our staff is always looking at ways to improve services.
This new federal rating system is based on information from the last three years of surveys, staffing information, and quality measures. It is anticipated that approximately 10 percent of nursing facilities will receive five stars, 70 percent will have two stars, 10 percent three or four stars and the remaining 10 percent will be assigned the lowest rating of one star.
So, the next time you visit the Bellevue Care Center, please check out our "Five Star Employee Recognition Wall" located in the central corridor near the entrance. It's our way of tipping our hat to over 90 dedicated professionals. On behalf of the entire staff, we are proud to serve this community and we are grateful for the overwhelming support we have received in response to this nationwide announcement. We look forward to announcing enhanced programs and some additional services throughout 2009.
