Sharon A. Hoppes

Sharon A. (Welling) Hoppes, 65, Clyde, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008 at the Arbors of Clyde.

She was born July 13, 1943 in Fremont, the daughter of Clair and Louise (Smith) Welling. She married Lonnie Hoppes on March 19, 1966 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2008.

She was a graduate from the Green Springs High School in 1961. She was most recently at the Clyde High School as assistant manager of the school cafeteria, retiring in September 2004.

Survivors include a sister, Carole (Larry) Rawson of Fremont; and a brother, Larry (LouAnn) Welling of Newark.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 30, at 3 p.m., at the Arbors at Clyde, 700 Helen St.

Arrangements are being handled by the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St.
