V. Grant Hostetter

V. Grant Hostetter, 66, Clyde, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008 at his residence.

He was born March 8, 1942, the son of John G. and Beatrice (Damschroeder) Hostetter.

He graduated from Clyde High School in 1960 and had worked for the West Baking Co. in Norwalk, and later the Clyde-Green Springs Schools. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clyde and the Clyde Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include a daughter, Heidi (Mark) Gleason of Jensen Beach, Fla. and a son, Victor (Suzanne) Hostetter of Norwalk; five grandchildren; and a brother, John N. Hostetter of Clyde.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be (today) Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 21, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harris-Elmore Cemetery in Elmore.
