Boger, Wylie exchange vows
The Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon provided the setting for the Saturday, May 23, marriage of Katie Boger and Brian Wylie. Pastor Matt Boyers officiated the 3:30 p.m. ceremony. Brad Wylie, cousin of the groom, provided guitar selections.
The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Sandra Boger of Wauseon. Parents of the bridegroom are Thomas and Therese Wylie of Archbold.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless diamond white floor length, bubble bottom dress with random gatherings. It was complemented with a pink bow and jeweled family broach.
Wendi Brown, Wauseon, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor and Melissa Boger, Lyons, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids included Erica Wylie of Orlando, Fla. and Laura Wylie of Archbold, both sisters of the groom; Kimberly Rupp of Pettisville, friend of the bride; and Lollie Vargas of Clyde, friend of the groom.
Nieces of the bride Samantha and Tayler Boger of Pettisville and Paige Powell of Lyons served as junior bridesmaids and flowergirls.
The bestmen were Ben Barton of Archbold, friend of the couple and Michael Lemmon of Brunswick, Maine, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Josh Boger of Pettisville, brother of the bride; Zach Bly of Archbold, friend of the couple; Raffy Reyes of Clyde, friend of the groom; and Dan Utech, St. Louis, Mo., friend of the groom. Devon and Zander Brown of Wauseon and Ben Boger of Pettisville, nephews of the bride, served as junior groomsmen and ring bears.
A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Archbold.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Pettisville High School and Northwest State Community College majoring in Visual Communications. She is employed as a graphics designer.
The groom is a graduate of St. Mary's School in Clyde and Archbold High School in 2005. He is serving in the United States Navy, stationed in Japan for four years.
Following a honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside in Virginia Beach, Va.
