Chamber market to hold 5K run

FREMONT - In recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County's Health and Wellness Committee will present the first Chamber Market 5K Fun Run and Relay, with proceeds benefiting the Sandusky County Cancer Care Fun.

Taking place on Oct. 17, the Fun Run and Relay will begin at 9 a.m. in Downtown Fremont. Medals will be awarded to first place male/female finishers in each category with ribbons being given to 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

Teams and participants can log on to the Chamber website at www.scchamber.org to print a registration form. All teams and participants pre-registered by Oct. 1, will receive a t-shirt for participating.

To participate in the Run/Walk you can pre-register by Oct. 1, for $18. Relay teams comprised of three people can pre-register for $45.
