Early deadlines

The Clyde Enterprise news and advertising deadlines for the Sept. 3 issue of the newspaper will be noon, Thursday, Aug. 28.

The Enteprise will be closed Monday, Sept. 1 for Labor Day.

Meeting canceled

The Clyde Planning Commission is canceling its regular Thursday, Sept. 4 meeting as there is nothing on the agenda.

The next regularly schedule meeting is Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in the municipal building conference room.

Village meetings change

GREEN SPRINGS - Due to the Labor Day holiday the trustees of the Green Springs Board of Public Affairs will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 2 instead of the normal Monday 6 p.m. meeting time.

The Green Springs Village Council will meet on at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2 instead of the normal Monday 7:30 p.m. meeting time.

Flag football time

The City of Clyde Recreation Department will be holding Flag Football sign-ups for first through sixth grades on Tuesday, Sept. 2 and Thursday, Sept. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the enclosed shelter house at the Clyde Community Park. The cost is $20 per child, according to a press release.

Cheerleading sign-ups for third and fourth grades will be at the same time and location. The cost per child is also $20.

Library closings

The Clyde Public Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Regular library hours will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 9 a.m.

The Clyde Public Library will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 6, for building maintenance. Regular library hours will resume on Monday, Sept. 8, at 9 a.m. Persons wishing to return library materials should use the book return in the parking lot.
