Glanemann in choir
ALLIANCE - Lexi Glanemann, Clyde, has been selected as a member of the choir at Mount Union College. Glanemann is a senior music education major.
Skeels in teacher program
FINDLAY - Samantha Skeels, a senior middle childhood education major at The University of Findlay, has been selected as a student teacher with Gateway Middle School in Maumee.
A 2006 graduate of Clyde High School, Skeels is the daughter of Linda Skeels of Fremont and Robert J. Skeels of Clyde.
Bender receives white coat
FINDLAY - Josh Bender, a junior pharmacy major at The University of Findlay, was among other students receiving a crisp white lab coat at the College of Pharmacy's White Coat Ceremony on Aug. 21.
A 2007 graduate of Clyde High School, Bender is the son of Steve Bender of Port Clinton and Linda Bender of Fremont.
The ceremony, held in Winebrenner Theological Seminary, signifies the students' entrance into the third year of the six-year program, which is the first year of professional courses in the College of Pharmacy.
Jinks accepts position
MISSOURI - Emma Jinks, 2006 Clyde High School graduate, has accepted an animal science graduate assistant position and fellowship with Dr. Mike Smith at the University of Missouri.
Jinks will continue her focus of research in reproductive physiology and endocrinology of beef cattle. Jinks received a B.S. degree from the College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University in June 2009.
