Youth flag corps to train

The Clyde High School Majorettes and Flag Corp will hold a K-8 Auxiliary Clinic for children interested in learning marjorette, flags and danceline skills.

The clinic will be Aug. 11 to 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the high school.

Registration is $25, which may be paid on the first day of the clinic or mailed to CHS Music Boosters PO Box 307, Clyde, 43410.

Camp advisor Kristen Burroughs said those who mention reading The Clyde Enterprise article may register at a cost of $20.

Children will receive a T-shirt and refreshments. There will be a final performance at 7 p.m. on Aug. 15 in the CHS Auditorium. Registration forms are available at the high school main office, board of education office, First Financial Bank, Clyde-Findlay Area Credit Union, Miller's Super Valu, Clyde Public Library, Subway and The Clyde Enterprise.

Burroughs said the goal of the program will be to increase the participating in majorettes and flag corps in coming years.
