Schools to conduct
community child screening
School districts throughout Ohio are required to participate in efforts to locate, identify, and evaluate all children with disabilities from birth through age 21.
As part of that responsibility, Clyde-Green Springs Schools will be conducting a Community Screening for children ages 3 through 5 in an attempt to locate children with potential disabilities. This screening will be held Friday, Oct. 23, at South Main Elementary School.
For children ages 3 through 5, a disability means that a child has a documented deficit in one or more of the following developmental areas: hearing, vision, communication, motor skills, social emotional skills, adaptive behavior, or cognition. All children will be screened by appointment only.
To schedule an appointment, contact the Board of Education Office, 106 S. Main St. at 419-547-0588, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Appointments need to be scheduled by Oct. 16. Please do not call the school.
