Credit union remodeling
interior to benefit members
The Clyde-Findlay Area Credit Union provides a full range of financial services including home mortgage and equity loans, vehicle loans, deposit products, fee free checking and savings accounts and many other financial products to fit the needs of its members.
While the economic downturn has affected many traditional banks and institutions, the Clyde Findlay Area Credit Union has been able to avoid many of the same pitfalls.
In order to protect its members' assets, CFACU continues to be very careful with its lending practices, according to a press release.
Through this diligence the credit union has avoided the lending decisions that could have transformed its outlook today. Today, Clyde-Findlay Area Credit Union stands as a well-capitalized credit union that continues to have funds to lend to its members and provide deposit products at competitive rates.
As an additional safeguard, members' savings are federally insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA, a U.S. Government Agency.
In 2009, the credit union has launched a remodeling project in the Clyde office.
The goal is to update its building so the staff is able to continue to provide a safe and secure building so its members' feel confident in doing their financial business.
The update includes a new elevator and leveling the first floor. All of CFACU's tellers and member service representative will be on the same level.
Loan officers and other member service representatives will have individual offices to maintain member privacy and security. Construction at the Clyde office is scheduled to be completed in June of this year.
CFACU also recently opened a new ATM location in the Tiffin area and continue to look for opportunities to expand.
