Ladies defeat Huron, St. Mary's

The Lady Fliers took down a pair of Sandusky Bay Conference rivals in September.

They defeated Huron 3-2 on the road Sept. 22 and then defeated St. Marys in Sandusky Sept. 24. Against Huron the Lady Fliers pulled off wins at first and second doubles with Katie MacFarland and Kaylea Griffin and Emily Stamm and Shelbe Gibson and took the third singles match with Emily Turner.

1st Singles - Jacque Weir (H) defeated Sam Hill (C) 6-0, 6-0

2nd Singles - Nancy Bloor (H) defeated Spencer Robles (Clyde) 6-0, 6-0

3rd Singles - Emily Turner (C) defeated Jenn Semon (H) 6-2, 6-2

1st Doubles - Katie MacFarland and Kaylea Griffin (C) defeated Nora Chaban and Kelly Stallkamp (H) 6-0, 6-1

2nd Doubles - Emily Stamm and Shelbe Gibson (C) defeated Morgan Griffin and Paige Peiples (H) 6-3, 6-0
