MMS girls take 15th place

The McPherson Middle School Cross Country team competed in at the Fostoria Booster Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 4.

The girls' team finished 15th among 34 teams. Becca Webb finished in 46th place with a time of 14:42.

Other local runners were Erin Slaughter,100th, (15:35); Bethany Williams, 101st (15:35); Sara Smith, 112th (15:46); Vic Wobser , 112th (16:11); Kirsten Albright, 143rd (16:47); and Amber Gordon, 183rd, (19:35).

With only four runners, the boys' team was unable to score as a team. Steve Cleveland ran 13:13 to finish in 62nd place. Isaac Prunty was 90th (13:41); Zack Myers,123rd (14:18); and Joe Noftz 179th (16:06).

The team is preparing for the SBC race on Saturday, Oct. 11 to Fabens Park in Huron.
