Lipstraws to celebrate 50th anniversary
Richard and Shirley Lipstraw, 14621 W. Toussaint N. Rd., Graytown, will celebrate their 50th wedding Anniversary on April 19th. The couple was married at St. John's Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor by Pastor Shoup.
They are the parents of four sons: Allen (Lorie) of Rocky Ridge, Gary (Crystal), Mark (Paulette) of Oak Harbor and Scott of Rocky Ridge. They have 6 grandchildren: Keith Kline, Josh, Jake, Jessica, Erica and Sara. Keith was killed this past summer in Baghdad, Iraq, while serving in the Army.
They have 2 step grandchildren: Barbara (Denny) Mazur, and Jaime Brook and 2 step great grand children Zack and Kayla Mazur.
Richard retired from Buhrow's Inc. He still enjoys mowing the grass at Limestone and Elliston Cemeteries. They still enjoy camping in the summer with their dog, Bucky. A family dinner will be held Sunday at Allen and Lorie's home in Rocky Ridge.
