Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

We the members of the American Legion, Auxiliary and Sons would like to thank our members, community, friends and neighbors for their continued support again this year. Without your help, we wouldn't be able to support the many charities that we do. Locally, we support the Sandusky Veterans' Home, the Food Pantry, the Holiday Bureau and the Giving Tree to name a few. We also send one Boy and two Girls to Buckeye State.

Buckeye Boys'/Girls State is a week of learning about how our local, State and Federal governments are run. They are literally put in a hands-on role, be it a councilman, mayor, policeman or just an average citizen. It is a fun week of learning and meeting new friends. National1y, we support the USO, the Miracle Network, and Gifts tot Yanks to name a few.
