Thank you Oak Harbor and Western Ottawa County

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Relay For Life of Western Ottawa County and the American Cancer Society, I would like to say Thank You for helping to make this year's Relay a huge success. The Relay was held at the Oak Harbor High School on Saturday, June 7th and was greatly attended by people of all ages. Despite the high temperature, everyone enjoyed the entertainment, food, activities and fundraisers that were happening throughout the afternoon and evening.

Thanks to you, we will reach our goal of $30,000.00. Hats off to the more than 30 survivors and their families who came out to celebrate finding a CURE and to those who came to remember loved ones who have lost their battle to cancer.

A special thanks to Mayor Fred Conely, John Boaz, Ashley Auger, Todd Wax, Boy Scouts Troop #316, Magruder Hospital, Genoa Bank, Long Beach Custom Builders, Brush Wellman, St. Bonore Agency, Druckenmiller Agency, Grandma's Backyard BBQ, Wistinghausen Florist, Community Markets, Oak Harbor High School, St. Paul's UCC Church, Pisanello's Pizza, Nick James Productions, Daddy's Gonna Kill Ralphie Band, Shorin Ryu Martial Arts Academy, Drowns Dairy Plaza, K-100 Radio Station, News Herald, News Messenger, Tastefully Simple, Nyla Denman, Port Clinton Police Department, Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union, Portage District Volunteer Fire Department, Air Extreme Ohio Inflatable and Greg Carson-Magical Entertainer.

The thanks could go on and on to all those who had a team, donated their time, services etc. and to the committee members and team captains who dedicated endless hours to help make this Relay the success that it was.

Thank you again and remember,

Puzzle together for a cure!

Lisa Reedy
