Francis J. Skrinak

Francis J. Skrinak, retired postal carrier, died July 22, 2008 at The Stein Hospice Hospital in Sandusky. He was 89.

Francis was born in Marblehead, Ohio to Andrew and Anna (Klatcik) Skrinak. Fran was a lifelong resident of Marblehead. He served in World War II as a medic in the Army's 19th Infantry and was the local postal carrier for 36 years for Marblehead and Lakeside.

A celebration of Fran's life took place on Saturday, July 26, 2008, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marblehead. Ohio. Interment followed in St. Joseph Cemetery.
