Nature tots program at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge

Do you have a little one who loves animals, likes to sing songs, and enjoys reading stories?

Children ages 3 - 5 and their favorite adult are invited to visit Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, August 2, 2008, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. for our monthly "Nature Tots" program in partnership with the Black Swamp Bird Observatory.

This month's theme is "Super Spiders!" Children will learn about spiders and their homes, do a nature craft, sing spider songs, and listen to a fun story. Then we'll head outside and see if we can find some spiders! Registration is required - space is limited. Please call Laura at 419-898-0014 to register.

For more information about these or other Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge events, visit the refuge's website, http://www.fws.gov/midwest/ottawa.

The Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge entrance is located 15 miles east of Toledo or 16 miles west of Port Clinton on State Route 2.

The entrance road is located on the north side of State Route 2.
