Shorin Ryu forming mixed cage fighting team

The Shorin Ryu Martial Arts Academy in Oak Harbor is forming a Mixed Martial Arts Cage Fighting Team. These tryouts are open to males and females ages 16-40. If you are interested in becoming a cage fighter or training like one, tryouts will be held on Friday, July 11th at 6:00 p.m. at the Shorin Ryu Martial Arts Academy, 126 West Water Street, Oak Harbor.

Tryouts will consist of physical conditioning tests as well as wrestling, grappling and striking. Special equipment is not required, but if you own boxing gloves, headgear, wrestling shoes and/or protective gear of the same nature, you are encouraged to bring them.
