Lipstraw lone state qualifier

Erica Lipstraw is the only Lady Rocket that will be making the trip to next weekends State track meet in Columbus.

Finishing fourth in the 300-meter hurdles to qualify, she will try to best last season's 4th place finish at state. This year and last year she has been the Lady Rockets lone qualifier.

Just missing the cut were Kristen Rios in the 800-meter with a fifth place finish, Kayla Diefenthaler also finished in fifth in the long jump.

And the 4x100 relay team also garnered a fifth place finish. That team consisted of Erica Lipstraw, Kayla Diefenthaler, Sam Scott and Anna Grieger.

As a team the Lady Rockets finished 11th place at the Regional track meet held in Lexington, May 29 & 31.
