Rockets short circuit Chargers

Sports Writer

The Rocket boy's soccer team shutout the Edison Chargers 3-0, on their home turf on Tuesday October 6th.

Phil Weirich was responsible for two thirds of the scoring with Brandon Wasserman netting the other one.

Tyler Eoff would assist twice on goals and Justin Kamann would assist on the oher.

Scott Hites the goalkeeper would finish with 6 saves.

The Rockets run their league record to 8-2-1 with their 8th straight win. Overall the Rockets are 11-2-1.

Their next match will be Thursday at Huron.

Tigers Tame Rockets

The Oak Harbor boy's soccer team saw their 8 game win streak end in a loss at Huron, 5-2 on Thursday October 8th.

The halftime score was 3-2 in favor of the Tigers and they would go one to add 2 more second half goals to finish the margin of victory.

Jesse Baker and Tyler Eoff would score the Rocket goals with Phil Weirich picking up an assist.

The Rockets SBC record stands at 8-3-1 and overall 11-3-1.
