Golden anniversary for Dowlings

Pat and Patsy Dowling were married Oct. 3, 1959 in St. Mary's (now Holy Trinity) Church in Assumption. They currently reside in Swanton.

Together with their children, they celebrated Sunday, Oct. 4 with Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, followed by a dinner reception for family, relatives and friends at the Parish Metzger Community Center.

Pat and Patsy are blessed with four sons and seven grandchildren: Jim Dowling of Sylvania, Tiffany and Kelsey; Mike and Kathi Dowling of Swanton, Travis and MacKenzie; Matt and Judy Dowling of Metamora, Drew and Gary and Julie Dowling of Metamora, Jacob and Josh.

Together, Pat and Patsy have been singing and playing the organ for weddings, anniversaries and funerals for over 50 years at their Assumption Parish.
