FCGS presents resources for family tree research

Many family researchers have ancestors who have served in the military from colonial to present times. On Nov. 10, at 7 p.m., at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 410 Taylor St., Delta, the Fulton County Genealogical Society (FCGS) presents, "Researching Your Military Ancestors," by Derek S. Davey. Davey lectures on a variety of topics related to genealogy in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

Military records can provide pertinent information on an ancestor, if you know where to look. This free program will help aid you in your research.
