A lifeline for marriages is available

The Northwest Ohio Retrouvaille program has announced plans for the next gathering on October 17 through the 19 in Tiffin.

Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi) is an international program for couples in troubled and pain-filled marriages. From the French word, meaning "rediscovery", it directly addresses couples in hurting relationships to begin putting their marriages back in order.

The weekend is fairly concentrated and operated from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. It is not regarded as a spiritual retreat or seminar. Rather, it is a couples' involved exercise intent on halting the downward spiral the marriage is experiencing. The weekends are operated by married couples that have successfully completed a similar weekend themselves.

Following the workshop weekend, the couples commit to six follow-up Sunday afternoon sessions designed to continue, in greater depth, the renewal experience initiated on the weekend.
