Piaskowy, Rizzi,to wed

Ilona Piaskowy and Patrick Rizzi, both of Chevy Chase, Maryland, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming wedding. The bride-elect is the daughter of Frank and Barbara Piaskowy of Goshen, Ind. The groom-elect is the son of Mario and Patricia Rizzi of Swanton.

Ilona is a 2001 graduate of Northridge High School (Middlebury, Ind.) and a 2005 graduate of American University in Washington, D. C. with a B. A. in political science. She works in government relations at the Association of Public Television Stations.

Patrick is a 1997 graduate of Swanton High School. He works in Information Technology at the National Institutes of Health.

The couple is planning their wedding for Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 at the Spohn Ballroom in Goshen, Ind.
