Donald W. Smith

Donald W. Smith, 65, of Wauseon, passed away on August 9, 2008. Donald was retired from the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He had spent two tours in Viet Nam.

Donald is survived by three children, Don, Jr., Adam Smith and Dawn Ravert; his mother Virginia McFeters, three brothers Robert, Richard, and David, and two sisters Betty Russell and Sally Roach, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at the Wauseon American Legion Post #265 on Shoop Ave., in Wauseon on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, at 4 p.m. Donald requested to be cremated and the family will receive friends at the Wauseon American Legion Post #265 on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008 from 1 to 7:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 1 until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Post #265 Charity Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.
