Midge J. (Victor) Goethe
Midge J. (Victor) Goethe, 75, of Wauseon passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 31, 2009, in her home. Midge was born in Wauseon on Nov. 14, 1933, the daughter of the late Sam and the late Virginia (Hill) Goldsmith.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for the First National Bank in Wauseon, and had also been the manager at Kettering Country Club in Defiance. She was a member of Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon.
Surviving is one daughter, Pam (Carl) Spadafore of Wauseon; two sons, Sam (Patrice) Victor of Sylvania and Dan Victor of Ft. Myers, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Arlene Eicher of Wauseon and Bernie Shock of Defiance.
She was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Jim Goldsmith.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon, with Pastor Matthew Boyers officiating. Interment will follow in Wauseon Union Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in the chapel at Crossroads Evangelical Church.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties or Crossroads Evangelical Church.
