Tony W. Schuette

Tony W. Schuette, 69, of Napoleon died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 18, 1940, to the late Arnold H. and Leota B. (Yaichner) Schuette.

He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company of Toledo, in the Steel Fabrication and Welding Division. He was a member of UAW Local 1892 and a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Napoleon. Tony loved his family, playing golf, watching Nascar and the Yankees. He was known for his great personality and fun-loving jokes.

He is survived by a stepmother, Gertrude Schuette of Napoleon; sons, Scott (Angie) Schuette of Wauseon and Todd Schuette of Bryan; grandchildren, David Schuette of Napoleon, Audrey Sachs of Ft. Louis, Wash., and Tiffany Schuette, Joscelynne Schuette and Aspen Schuette, all of Wauseon; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruthann Gray of Napoleon and Carol Sue (Ron) Baerlin of Malinta, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon.

Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, and one hour prior to services, at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
