Fulton County Grand Jury indicts 18
On Monday, Aug. 18, the Fulton County Grand Jury considered indictments, charging 18 individuals with Fulton County crimes, according to Prosecuting Attorney Roger D. Nagel.
Joshua K. Bennett, 24, Archbold, was indicted on one count of burglary and one count of theft. It is alleged that on April 28, 2008, he broke into a home and stole a credit card.
Eric A. Lichtenwald, 31, Archbold, was indicted on one count of passing bad checks. Allegedly, on Sept. 29, 2006, he wrote a check for $970, knowing it would be dishonored.
Shaelyn M. Mock, 28, Bryan, was indicted on one count of failure to appear on personal recognizance bond. Allegedly, on Aug. 11, 2008, she failed to appear in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court as required by the terms of her personal recognizance bond established on a pending felony case in that court.
Matt A. Klein, 39, Brooklyn, NY, was indicted on one count of possession of cocaine and one count of tampering with evidence. It is alleged that on July 25, 2008, he was in possession of cocaine and attempted to destroy or conceal the evidence.
Robert K. Sain, 37, Lansing, Mich., was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property and one count of theft by deception. It is alleged that on June 27, 2008, he was in possession of a 14 foot tandem trailer that was the property of another person and obtained $2,100 by deception.
Jeremy Malak, 21, Swanton, was indicted on one count of felonious assault. Allegedly, on June 29, 2008, he caused serious physical harm to Jonathan Starcher.
Ian C. Ruffer, 18, Wauseon, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of possession of cocaine. It is alleged that on July 24, 2008, he was in possession of Kadian (morphine sulfate) and cocaine, which are controlled substances.
Dennis L. Coates, 47, Canton, was indicted on tow counts of importuning and one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. It is alleged that on June 16 and June 25, 2008, he solicited another by a telecommunications device, to engage in sexual activity with him, and the other person was a law enforcement officer posing as a person who was 13 years of age or older, but less than 16 years of age. It is also alleged that on June 16, 2008, he disseminated obscene material to a law enforcement officer posing as a juvenile.
Tyler E. Smith, 32, Delta, was indicted on one count of failure to provide notice of change of address. Allegedly, from July 15, 2008 to Aug. 10, 2008, he failed to provide written notice of his residence change to the sheriff of Fulton County, as required by the sexual offender requirements.
Martin L. Mosher, Jr., 28, Swanton, was indicted on one count each of theft, forgery and misuse of credit cards. It is alleged that on Aug. 10, 2008, he stole and misused a credit card. He than forged a writing so that it purported to be genuine when it was actually spurious.
Christopher D. Fay, 24, Napoleon, was indicted on one count of theft. It is alleged that between the dates of May 21 to May 28, 2008, he stole property from Perfection Finishers valued at over $500.
Todd M. Keefer, 33, Fayette, was indicted on one count of possession of cocaine. It is alleged that on July 25, 2008, he was in possession of cocaine.
Ryan R. Gibson, 27, Toledo, was indicted on two counts of failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer and one count of abusing harmful intoxicants. Allegedly on Aug. 1, 2008, he fled police officers and the operation of his vehicle caused a substantial risk of serious physical harm to persons and property. Further, it is alleged that he was in possession of harmful intoxicants. The indictment contains a specification alleging that Gibson was previously convicted of a drug abuse offense in 2003 in Lenawee County, Mich.
Floyd S. Miller, 61, Swanton, was indicted on two counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition. It is alleged that between the dates of July 1 through Aug. 5, 2008, he engaged in sexual conduct with another and purposely compelled the other person to submit by force or threat of force and he had sexual contact with another and purposely compelled the other person to submit by force or threat of force.
Patrick J. Gerity, 41, Delta, was indicted on four counts of gross sexual imposition. It is alleged that between the months of January 2007 and July 2008, he engaged in sexual contact with persons who were less than thirteen years of age.
Russell A. Jones, 37, Napoleon, was indicted on one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and one count of sexual imposition. It is alleged that between the dates of Jan. 1, 2005 and Dec. 31, 2007, he disseminated obscene material to a juvenile and had sexual contact with another person who was between the ages of 13 and 16.
Ronald L. Uyttenhove, 40, delta, was indicted on one count of burglary and one count of theft. It is alleged that on July 22, 2008, he trespassed into an occupied structure and stole a credit card.
Ryan C. Price, 25, Swanton, was indicted on two counts of felonious assault. Allegedly, on July 18, 2008, he caused serious physical harm to James Stall, Jr. and Russell N. Adkins.
