Three individuals sentenced for Fulton County crimes
Three men pleaded guilty on Friday, Oct. 23 in Fulton County Common Pleas Court.
Matthew D. Oiler, 36, Napoleon, previously pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of property. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott A. Haselman, on or about Aug. 22, 2008 to Aug. 29, 2008, Oiler used a trailer stolen from an area business.
Judge James E. Barber sentenced Oiler to two years community control. He further ordered Oiler to pay prosecution and incarceration costs, pay restitution of $500, pay a $50 per month supervision fee and obtain a GED. Judge Barber imposed six days in CCNO with credit for three days served.
Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Oiler serving nine months in prison.
Joseph C. Grime II, 38, West Unity, previously pleaded guilty to theft from an elderly person or disabled adult. According to Haselman, on or about July 5, 2008 to Aug. 8, 2008, Grime stole cash valued at more than $5,000, but less than $25,000.
Judge Barber sentenced Grime to four years community control. He ordered Grime to pay prosecution and incarceration costs, pay restitution of $17,900, pay a $50 per month supervision fee, possess or consume no alcoholic beverages, stay out of bars and taverns and seek and maintain employment.
Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Grime serving 11 months in prison.
Charles B. Seel, 45, Swanton, previously pleaded guilty to domestic violence and resisting arrest. According to Haselman, on or about May 28, 2009 to June 9, 2009, Seel caused physical harm to a family or household member and resisted arrest.
Judge Barber sentenced Seel to one year in prison.
