WPD needs you to help solve a crime

The Wauseon Police Department (WPD) is requesting information from the public to assist in solving the below listed crime(s):

Sometime between the hours of 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5 and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at least two vehicles were entered while parked at the West Elm Apartments. The unknown suspect(s) took a car stereo out of each vehicle. Both vehicles were unlocked.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Wauseon Police at (419) 335-3821. Callers providing information may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.

Again, please remember to lock your vehicles at all times, even when parked at home. Also, remember to keep all valuables, including loose change and keys, inside your residence, or on you, when parking your car.
