Sgt. Zuver recognized for service

On Nov. 6, the first annual Terry Sowers Memorial Award was presented to Sgt. Tracy Zuver for his outstanding advocacy on behalf of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Sowers was an advocate and member of the Family Justice Center's Executive Board. She was killed in an automobile accident last year.

Sgt. Zuver is an 18-year veteran deputy for the Fulton County Sheriff's Department. He was nominated by the Rape Crisis Center of Woman and Family Services for his compassion and outstanding services for the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Fulton County.
