Rules governing letters to the editor

We encourage letters for publication on the Opinion Page of the Expositor. Deadline for the Tuesday edition is Friday at noon. Letters should pertain to subjects of local interest. They must be signed and contain a daytime phone number for verification purposes. Anonymous letters are never published. Letters are limited to 300 words. We reserve the right to reject or edit any letter.

Letters representing a group will appear with only one author's name.

Only one letter per writer on an issue will be published. Letters about candidates are not published.
