1:10 p.m. - Ryan K. Pursel, 25, Wauseon, was northbound in a Case self-propelled combine on CR 23, Franklin Twp., when he pulled off to the edge of the roadway to allow a southbound vehicle to pass. The combine's rear tire struck a depression, causing the rear axle to break. The combine continued to the right off the roadway and into a yard.

7:16 p.m. - Andrew Toadvine, 33, Delta, was eastbound on US 20A, York Twp., when his vehicle struck a southbound deer.

8:13 p.m. - Hector Martinez, 34, Wauseon, was westbound on CR 3, York Twp., failed to maintain control of his vehicle, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch. He was cited for OMVI.

Sunday, Oct. 12

2:01 a.m. - Derek J. Yevtich, 18, Delta, was northbound on SH 109, York Twp., when his vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.

5:06 a.m. - Matthew L. Fitch, 20, Delta, was northbound on CR 11, York Twp., when he swerved to miss an animal in the road, drove off the west side of the roadway, overcorrected and went into a slide across CR 11 and rolled into a cornfield ending up on his roof.

Friday, Oct. 17

8:38 p.m. - Michael A. Webster, 22, Wauseon, was northbound on CR 11, York Twp., when his vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.

Monday, Oct. 20

6:50 a.m. - David L. Moyers, 20, Wauseon, was eastbound on US 20, Royalton Twp., when his vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.

7:29 p.m. - Mary A. Crosser, 35, Swanton, was westbound on US 20A, Clinton Twp., when a golf ball struck her windshield. Michael Baird, 13148 US 20A was the individual hitting golf balls.

Tuesday, Oct. 21

7:57 p.m. - Chad S. Bachman, 39, Wauseon, was southbound on SH 108, Dover Twp., when his vehicle struck a deer on the roadway.

Wednesday, Oct. 22

12:10 a.m. - Frank J. Repka, 63, Columbus, Mont., was traveling eastbound on CR K, Pike Twp., when his vehicle struck and killed a southbound deer in the roadway.

4:43 p.m. - Sylvester H. Long, Jr., 58, Wauseon, was northbound on CR 19, Clinton Twp., and stopped at the stop sign at CR 19 and SH 2. Kyle D. Graber, 16, Wauseon, was northbound on CR 19, failed to stop and struck Mr. Long's vehicle in the rear. Mr. Graber was cited for failure to control.

8:43 p.m. - Dexter L. Wyse, 64, Fayette, was northbound on SH 66, Franklin Twp., when his vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. The deer remained at the scene.

9:17 p.m. - Paul M. Smith, 31, Leslie, Mich., was driving a semi-truck on to the property of Gerald Grain Center, Dover Twp. Mr. Smith's vehicle struck a grain spout that was on a silo. The grain elevator management had the driveway blocked off, but Mr. Smith went around the barricade.

Thursday, Oct. 23

7:11 p.m. - Jason R. Whalen, 32, Monclova, was southbound on CR 3, Swancreek Twp., when his vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. The deer remained at the scene.

Friday, Oct. 24

3:13 a.m. - Roger R. Fair, jr., 24, Wauseon, was eastbound on CR D, German Twp., when his vehicle failed to negotiate the curve, going off the left side of the road and into a ditch. His vehicle did strike a road sign, though it just bent the pole.

Saturday, Oct. 25

10:31 a.m. - Glenn A. Ford, 20, Delta and Christopher D. Ebright, 39, Delta, were eastbound on US 20A, Swancreek Twp., when Mr. Ford slowed for traffic. Mr. Ebright failed to slow up and struck Mr. Ford's vehicle. Mr. Ebright was cited for assured clear distance ahead - speeding.

Monday, Oct. 27

6:22 a.m. - Donald L. Clifton, 47, West Unity, was eastbound on US 20A, German Twp., when his vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.

7:22 a.m. - Daniel J. Murry, 51, Lyons, was eastbound on CR S, Royalton Twp., failed to maintain control of his vehicle, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a phone junction box. His vehicle came to rest just off the roadway. Embarq was notified of the damage.

4:04 p.m. - William B. Schneider, 71, Glenbeulah, Wis., was southbound on SH 108, Dover Twp. He merged into a divider lane and attempted to turn left into 8198 SH 108. Mr. Schneider saw Delminda P. Degler, 43, Tedrow, approaching from the north and came to a stop in the northbound lane. Mr. Schneider then accelerated to avoid a collision. Ms. Degler took evasive action to the left, yet her vehicle did strike Mr. Schneider's vehicle in the right rear. Mr. Schneider was cited for failure to yield making a left turn.

8:43 p.m. - Alicia K. Glover, 55, Wauseon, was southbound on CR 3, Swancreek Twp., when her vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.

Tuesday, Oct. 28

6:59 p.m. - Laura L. Triggs, 35, Neapolis, was northbound on CR 2, Swancreek Twp., when her vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.

Wednesday, Oct. 29

7:04 a.m. - Jeffrey J. Nash, 24, Liberty Center, was westbound on CR A, York Twp., when his vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.

3:06 p.m. - Rodney S. Webb, 56, Delta, was westbound on CR F, Swancreek Twp., when a deer rammed into the passenger side of his vehicle and fled the scene. The passenger side of his vehicle was damaged.
