BOWLING GREEN - The Archbold Blue Streaks ran into a buzz saw on Saturday night in the regional semi-finals of the Division V football tournament. That buzz saw, despite some big plays by a few players, had its sharpest tooth in junior quarterback Aaron Craft.

Area athletes named all-district in soccer
Several area girls have received postseason soccer recognition.
Archbold sophomore Alicia Drewes led the way. Drewes was named second team All-Ohio and first team all-district in Division II by the coaches.

Delta and Wauseon ran to top 10 finishes at the 2008 Ohio Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Scioto Downs.

Wrestling officials training planned
Training classes for new high school wrestling officials will be held on Monday nights at Wayne Trail Elementary School in Maumee starting on Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m. The fee for the 25-hour course is $80 and will finish on Dec. 8.
