Friday, Oct. 16, Oberlin city schools will be closed for all students. Enjoy the long weekend.
Eastwood: Eastwood students are at the trimester midpoint. If your student is having problems don't wait, now is the time to schedule a conference with their teacher.
Prospect: Wednesday, Oct. 14 there will be an IB PYP parent information night starting at 6 p.m. This is a good chance to get a better understanding of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program and what is means for your student.
Langston: The eighth graders of Langston are planning to head to Washington, D.C. again this year. There will be a parent information meeting Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. If you are the parent of an eighth grader, please plan to attend.
Sporting Life: Saturday, Oct. 17 there will be Youth/Coed football starting at 9 a.m. Girls basketball will begin practicing Monday, Oct. 19 at 3 p.m. Your student athlete must have a current physical.
OHS: The Oberlin Media Club is a new club this year. They have been doing a fabulous job of recording activities for OHS. Check out what is going on by going to the OHS website and clicking on the Media Club.
Sporting Life: OHS girls varsity soccer hosts Columbia Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. This is also Senior/Parent night. The boys soccer team is home Thursday, Oct. 15 with JV vs. Twinsburg at 5 p.m. and varsity vs. Hearts For Jesus at 7 p.m. This is also Senior/Parent Night. Phoenix football is home Friday, Oct. 16 against Brooklyn with kick-off at 7:30 p.m. If you have not been out to a game yet this year this is your chance to check out the football team and see and hear our great marching band.
