Lectures
* On Thursday, June 19 at 7:15 p.m., Oberlin College professor of physics, John Scofield, speaks on "Wind Power and Other Energy Topics for Northeast Ohio." Scofield is a member of the Oberlin Wind Power Initiative, and will discuss the viability of wind power for Oberlin.
* On Thursday, June 26 at 4:15 p.m. Oberlin city manager Eric Norenberg speaks on "What's Happening in Oberlin." Norenberg will review his first six months as city manager and discuss prospects for the future.
Music
* On Tuesday, June 10 at 7:15 p.m., pianist Marian Lott will discuss and play from Bach's "Well-Tempered Clavicre." All music lovers are welcome.
Art
* Opening June 10, the Kendal and Friends Galleries feature the biennial "Kendal Creates" exhibit. This show includes works by the many talented artists who call Kendal home. Historically, the exhibit has included prints, paintings, photography, and textiles. The show continues through Sept. 15.
* Currently hanging in the Langston Gallery is "Stitches Through Time," an exhibit of the works of quilt artist, Peg Schultz.
