McCain's anger is dangerous
To the editor:
Senator McCain's anger, desperation, frustration, fear and bad judgment have been exposed, in particular, in the last few days of his campaign. These emotions have prompted his erratic behavior which, in turn, has caused him to lose control over his failing campaign.
He has unleashed his pitbull and together their rhetoric has recklessly amped the hatred, anger and fear of his constituency. During a recent rally, McCain's followers called Senator Obama a "terrorist," calling out for his demise and hurling an epitaph at a black soundman -- Obama's substitute.
Blind to the dangers of escalating this ugly "war," McCain has also missed the fact this his lightweight running mate is really campaigning for herself -- not the McCain or the Republican party.
On Nov. 4, we have the opportunity to send John McCain home to one of his seven houses. And Sarah Palin (Ms. Wink-um) will have time to pack her moose musket for the trip to Alaska before the snow flies.
We have the responsibility to put the Obama-Biden team in the White House. They have demonstrated the intellect, judgment, expertise, temperament, common sense, compassion and vision to move America from the Bush-McCain mess to happier days again.
Please be sure your vote is not based upon your desire to keep the White House white.
