Lukas Ethan

Bennett

Lukas Ethan Bennett was stillborn Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009 at Fairview General Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio.

Lukas was the loving son of Daniel E. and Elisabeth A. (nee Bolyard) Bennett of Oberlin; loving grandson of Charles Bennett Jr. of Baltimore, Md. and the late Mary Elizabeth Bennett, Jason and Becky Bolyard of Oberlin; nephew of Mary Ann Rostek of Baltimore, Md. and Rachel L. Bolyard of Oberlin; and great-grandmother Anna M. Pash of Oberlin.

At the family's request, services were private. Funeral arrangements were handled by Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria, www.buschfuneral.com.

Bernice Grace

Gerhartinger

Bernice Grace Gerhartinger (nee Glynn) of Rootstown died at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. She was 88.

She was born April 13, 1921, in Pittsfield Township.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oberlin and of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rootstown. She enjoyed crocheting.

Mrs. Gerhartinger is survived by her son, Kenneth L. Gerhartinger of Rootstown; and granddaughter, Emily V. Gerhartinger of Rootstown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis P. Gerhartinger; and parents, John and Marion Glynn.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Elyria. Cowling Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
