Mark your calendars for the OHS Drama Club production of "Blithe Spirit," on Nov. 13-15 . Showtime for Friday and Saturday is 7:30 p.m. with a 3 p.m. matinee on Sunday. These young student thespians put a lot of hard work into each production, so come and enjoy the fruits of their labor and support OHS Drama.
Eastwood: The first trimester is nearly over. Please be sure your student is keeping up with assignments. Remember, if your student is having problems, don't wait until report cards come out to address them.
Prospect: Once again the fourth and fifth grade classes from Prospect have been receiving free swimming lessons at Oberlin College. Thank you Oberlin College for your continuing support of Oberlin City Schools.
Langston: Report cards should be coming home soon; please take the time to go over your student's progress with them. The Langston seventh grade girls will be attending the annual AAUW luncheon at Kendal on Friday, Nov. 6.
Sporting News: The Langston girls basketball team will take to the court against Clearview Thursday, Nov. 5 at 4:30 p.m.
OHS: Thursday, Nov. 5 is picture retake day at OHS. If your student was absent on picture day or they would like a retake this is your chance.
If you don't want to wait to get your student's report card in the mail Thursday, Nov. 5, 4-7:30 p.m. is a chance to pick up the report card and have a brief conference with teachers. There will also be information for parents about scholarships with local representatives on hand to answer questions. In addition there will be a college access workshop 6:30-7:30 p.m by and for parents to answer questions about college admissions. Consider staying for the first quarter Oberlin High School Parent Action Group (OHPAG) meeting starting at 7:30 p.m.
Sporting Life: Girls and boys basketball teams are beginning practices and wrestling practice begins next week.
