Gail Anderson sends thanks to all for benefit dinner

Shock and awe -- that is how I felt on Sunday, Sept. 13. The turn out for my benefit truly touched my heart and to my Christian community I say thank-you for your support.

I would also like to recognize the following businesses -- Brown's Dairy Bar, Erie Food Market, The Marblehead Galley, and The Pizza House and Cafe at Bay Point. Thank-you.

To all the ladies who baked pies and desserts -- you out did yourself -- thank-you.

If you helped set-up, serve, clean up -- thank-you.

To the unnamed angels who donated cheese and ingredients for the lasagna -- thank-you.

To my family -- thank-you. To my Ya-Ya Sisters -- thank-you. To Myra, Linda, Mimi, Dinah -- a heartful of thanks for all your work in putting it together.

To St. John's and St. Joe's -- Christian love -- it showed and from the bottom of my heart a million thanks. I can only pay it forward now.

I am truly a blessed person, thankful I was born and raised here, thankful my parents raised me a Christian and blessed to see his work.

It was an awesome, overwhelming day, one I will never forget.
