Hamann to perform in The University
of Findlay's Marching Band Concert
Alyssa Hamann, a freshman pre-veterinary medicine major, will participate in The University of Findlay's Marching Oiler Brass second annual indoor concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in Winebrenner Theological Seminary.
Under the direction of Ron Cable and Jack Taylor, the band will offer highlights of its 2009 shows including music of the Civil War, selections by recording group Earth, Wind and Fire, and selections from the senior 2009 half-time show.
The winner of the Ronald C. Cable Endowed Instrumental Scholarship will be introduced at the program.
Tickets are $5 for general admission; $3 for students and senior citizens; and free for University of Findlay students, faculty and staff with I.D. Tickets may be reserved in advance by calling the University of Findlay Box Office at 419-434-5335.
Hamann, a 2009 graduate of Danbury High School, is the daughter of Barbara Hamann, Marblehead.
