Stonecrushers football team start season

The Danbury Stonecrushers season has begun.

On Sunday, Sept. 20, the team played Norwalk St. Paul at Norwalk. The fifth grade played good but lost 12-6. A touchdown was made by Grady Mark. The sixth grade team played very well but also lost 12-6. A touchdown was made by Connor Lenthe.

The cheerleaders did a great job and had lots of spirit and cheered loud. Spirit awards were given out to Cassie Kimm and Sarah Bosseti.

The Stonecrushers play again with the cheerleaders cheering them on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 1 p.m., at home at Biro Field against Edison.

All Stonecrusher games are played on Sundays.
