Oxendale and Hartman excel at Old Fort Invite

The Danbury Girls Cross Country team competed in the Old Fort Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

In the girls varsity competition Laker cross country team members posted individual awards. Kayla Oxendale finished seventh and received a gold medal and teammate Becka Hartman finished 16th and received a silver medal for her effort.

The girls competed in a field of 107 runners. Their times respectively were 22:42 and 23:30 for the 3.1 mile race.
