ODA September meetings
The Ohio Food Policy Council's Agricultural Viability Task Force will meet Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 2-4 p.m. at the Ohio Department of Agriculture's Bromfield Administration Building, Seminar Room B, 8995 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the protection of Ohio farmland and water resources by encouraging the growth of food products in Ohio.
The Ohio Food Policy Council's Food Assessment Task Force will meet Friday, Sept. 26 from 1-3 p.m. at the Ohio Department of Agriculture's Bromfield Administration Building, Room 308, 8995 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg. The purpose of the meeting is to collect and analyze information on food production and processing as well as patterns of food consumption in Ohio. The Ohio Food Policy Council's Market Connections Task Force will meet Monday, Sept. 29 from 1-3 p.m. at the North Market, 59 Spruce Street, Columbus. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss ways to help farmers and businesses market their food products and develop ways to link producers and consumers in local food systems.
