American Corn Growers 22nd annual convention

The American Corn Growers Association (ACGA) announces its 22nd annual convention in Coralville, Iowa, Jan. 15-16, 2009 at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. "Food, Conservation, Energy and Trade 2009" will boast a line-up of well-known industry leaders who will address the current policies and practices of food, conservation, energy and trade.

Straight out of Texas, author and populist Jim Hightower, as the keynote speaker, will deliver his seriously funny message calling farmers, consumers and just-plain-folks to get involved and make a difference in their own lives and communities.

Join ACGA on Jan. 16, 2009 for "Food, Conservation, Energy and Trade 2009". ACGA promises to deliver a day of must-have education and new insights with well-known guest speakers from your neighborhood and around the country. Come join us as they share their news, views and solutions that address the current policies and practices that impact you and your community.

We'll start the day with an exclusive "Breakfast with Jim Hightower," an ACGA Growers' Club event. Please, register separately by calling 202-835-0330 or 815-646-4040. At 9:30 a.m. the ACGA 22nd annual convention begins and speakers will take us down the road from "Farmscape to Cityscape." Along the way, our speakers will help the audience realize the vital connections between rural and urban ways of life and explore the policies and practices of food, conservation, energy and trade that shape our lives. These policies and practices impact everyone -- farmers and consumers, friends and neighbors, you and me.

Visit us online at www.acga.org. or to register, please call ACGA at 202-835-0330 or the ACGA Midwest Field Office at 815-646-4040.
